Our opinion

We love Plantation.  MD Niall Douglas has been twice and has seen the resort grow since it's opening.  His most recent visit in February 2010 was to see how it has matured and to see the fantastic Albion Villas.

The rooms at Albion are huge and beautifully decorated.  There is a wealth of activities and even when full the resort feels spacious with plenty of places to relax and get away from it all.  Journalist Richard Ingrams certainly enjoyed his stay there - read all about it.

Food is truly amazing at Albion.  The buffet is outstanding and the garden parties should not be missed.  We highly recommend this village.  Find out more

Superb family village in the North West of Mauritius.  MD Niall stayed with his children aged 2, 5 and 11 at the time - an amazing holiday.  Consider July and August, much quieter and temperatures of around 25C. Find out more
