Holland America, now owned by the Carnival Corporation, offers the more traditional cruise experience. Attention to detail and style is accompanied by good cuisine and service. Public rooms are elegant and make use of lots of antiques.
Holland America has a fleet of 14 elegant ships offering spacious cabins. The new Signature class 86,000 ton Eurodam was delivered in 2008 and sister ship Nieuw Amsterdam is scheduled for 2010.
