Ottoman Residence Review

The Ottoman Residence did exactly what it said on the tin!

It's an extraordinary building, set in a beautiful location, close to Akyaka village but away from any traffic noise, apart from the daily river boats -- wonderfully relaxing.

The hotel staff were friendly and could not do enough for you -- from the busboys and bar staff to housekeepers and manager. The food was plentiful and tasty. The pool was big enough, and there were always clean towels available, and lots of places to lie in the sun or in the shade of the eucalyptus trees on the lawn. The ASH rep, Umut, was very efficient and helpful, and a nice guy.
Even the mosquitoes were well behaved if you wore insect repellant!

We also really appreciated its small size (39 rooms) and that it was not open to under 12s.
