Much improved after the renovation in 2005. This village has access to the truly huge Paradis ski area right from the doorstep. You won’t have a problem finding virgin snow here!

Based in Arcs 2000, the village has great access to the skiing. Club Med Arcs Extreme is a lively resort and is really focussed on teenagers and would not be our recommendation with younger children.

Club Med Avoriaz is situated at 1800m. The refurbishment in 2007 is as striking as the architecture in resort itself with modern design and bright finishes. This is a great all round Club Med village.

Being honest, Club Med Alpe d’Huez is beginning to look a little tired and is in need of a refurbishment, but having said that it is still an excellent option for familes and skiers/boarders of all levels. The rooms are basic but functional and you can ski in and out of the property.
This village is extremely popular with families so if you want to avoid children then this may not be the Club Med for you, especially during the school holidays – speak to us for advice!

Renovated in 2007, Club Med Les Deux Alpes is a great family choice welcoming children from 4 months with clubs for 4 to 18 year olds. There is an excellent choice of rooms, kids clubs and skiing available.

ADULT ONLY VILLAGE – Somewhat basic in terms of accommodation and in need of a refurbishment but a great Club Med nonetheless. Many would argue that the size of the rooms doesn’t matter so much at Val Thorens as not sleeping goes on with all the partying; the rooms are functional and comfortable though.
Not the right option if you want a quiet week of focussed skiing but if you are wanting a great fun, great value week of skiing then Val Thorens could be the one for you.
